Being creative never stops, and experimenting with ideas during the off-hours always leads to something new. Sometimes, it even leads to processes or workflows that can usually be used at work.
I’ve been so excited about the possibilities of what you can do with video in the computer, I’ve purchased a lot of my own equipment, including multiple video cameras, field monitors, dslrs, audio recorders, lighting, backdrops, etc. Having help available is more of a challenge and sometimes requires just being a one-man show, or at least working with an assistant. Having a plan and/or scripts are good, too.

People and Places and Things
It started with a consumer-level camera and a basic lighting setup, but along with the combined interest in video, I expanded in equipment, capabilities and even sometimes help.
My preference has been landscapes and wildlife, but I’ve had some work with portraits that has been entertaining.

Adding Depth
It would be unfair of me to show work from a 3D Certificate bootcamp class because even though I had my hand at some modeling, many assets for the exercises are pre-built.
However, while I haven’t had the chance to do too many of my own personal 3D projects, I thought I’d include a quick highlight reel of the projects that I did work on myself from that class.
The stills below are from personal projects.

Animation Intros + Interactivity
When Flash intros were all the rage, (or not), I was having fun with my animation skills and sometimes, even adding in some ActionScript for a bit of interactivity. Some of these intros saw the light of day, others fell apart when the popularity and use of Flash dissolved.
